Ma-Prow is one of the numerous restaurants located on Prachuap’s seafront and it’s one of the best places to eat in town. The menu offers a mix of Western and Thai dishes, some of them being really creative and original. Of course, prices are a bit higher than in some others places, but if you’re not on a too tight budget, Ma-Prow is definitely worth a visit.
What makes Ma-Prow restaurant one of the best places in town is that the chef is really passionate about food and that every he cooks has a gastronomic touch. You’ll see the classics of Thai food on the menu, like the Tom Yum, Tom Kha Kai (chicken coconut milk soup) but also some more original dishes like the deep fried crab spring rolls or the meat crab coconut curry with potatoes. On the western side, the classics are here too: the beef filet is excellent, not to mention the fish and chips or the chicken cordon-bleu.
For a main dish the price varies between 80 (fried rice or noodle soup) and 380 bahts (spare ribs with barbecue sauce), with an average of 200 to 250 bahts. As I said before, it’s more expensive than many other places, but the quality is definitely worth the price.
And one last thing: Ma-prow means coconut in Thai language.
